WTF Is BS?
Learning about the BS is like learning that sugar's toxic. You nod. You agree. And then you go right back for seconds.
Most of you will do exactly that. Cool. No judgement. No fucks given.
Which is why I've got zero interest in overexplaining it.
I’m not building a masterclass.
I’m not publishing peer-reviewed BS Theory.
I'm not dissecting it under a microscope.
I'm here to expose it—then put that bitch in time-out.
You probably get the gist of the kind of BS I’m talking about.
But for me, I run it through a personal filter—A shitty acronym the productivity bros get hard for.
B.S. = BiaSes. BlindsSpots. BullShit.
That's my Big 3.
My 80/20—just in case your Notion dashboard forgot.
So, when I'm about to binge-watch Game of thrones because "I deserve it"—I run it through the filter.
And if any of those three are driving the bus...
I get off at the next exit.
So, here’s the deal:
I’ll define each piece once.
Quick. Dirty. Doneskis.
And I’ll drop a few links to the smart folks who explain this shit better than I ever will.
Then we can move on to what actually matters:
Spotting it.
Laughing at it.
Then realizing—oh shit...
And maybe—just maybe—stop letting this toxic bitch drive.
Ready?
Let’s hit the Cliff Notes.
Meet The BS
Bias:
Why Everyone Else Seems Like an Idiot (except you)

Biases are mental shortcuts—fat, lazy gremlins that help you feel like you’re making sense by skipping facts, context, or anything resembling real thinking. They're why you sound reasonable…and everyone else sounds like a fucking moron.
Blind Spots
Why We Can’t See When We’re Being Stupid

Blind spots are the shit you don’t know you’re ignoring. Not because you’re dumb. Because your brain hides it from you like an embarrassing tattoo.
You miss context. You miss warnings. You miss your own hypocrisy. Then act surprised when it blows up in your face.
You don’t see the red flag—you iron it, fold it, and wave it like a damn victory parade.
BullSh*t
The Reason We Do Things We Know Are Stupid

Bullshit is what happens when our Biases and Blind Spots throw on a trench coat and pretend to be logic.
It’s the story we sell to others—or ourselves—so we don’t have to change.
Sometimes it’s tactical.
Sometimes it’s habitual.
Sometimes it’s just pure survival mode dressed in motivational quotes.
It feels true.
It sounds smart.
It’s just… not.
So now you get it.
Biases. Blind Spots. Bullshit.
The Big 3.
But here’s the thing most people miss:
Knowing the definition of BS doesn’t mean you stop falling for it.
Hell, most people fall for smarter versions of it the more self-aware they get.
That’s why we built this: The 5 Levels of Bullshit
A brutally honest map of what self-deception really looks like—
and what it feels like to sound smart while staying stuck.
Want to see which level you’re stuck in?

HEADS-UP! FOR PEOPLE WHO SPOT BS EVERYWHERE—EXCEPT IN THEMSELVES.
Each week, I send a short punch to your perception.
I expose the BS hiding in:
• Current news
• Social media posts
• “I’m good at…” statements
• Emails from that guy who uses 6 emojis per sentence
